Love the podcast but…
Still 5 stars because I have loved this podcast for the past 4+ years but the latest episode with Genevieve was so hard to listen to. She made such a point saying a multiple times about how huge the baby was, then later said he was only 3.9kg. That weight is not that big, its very average and telling women that this is sooo big promotes fear and lack of confidence in our bodies. Also she was unsure if she consented to an episiotomy and then happily gave the baby to the nurse at only a few hours old to get some rest…. seriously concerning. Sophie please interview more women with integrity and steer clear of interviewing people just because they have a social media following.

Absolutely fascinating stories of strong mummas and their babies. I have long been intrigued by the intricacies of womens' pregnancies and births, and it is that much more personal to hear it directly from the mothers rather than in print.Read full review »

Didn't think I'd be into this but now I'm hooked. Have listened to 4 and all were great. I love how real, informal and honest everyone is, and yet the story telling is so solid. Great podcast.Read full review »
