When you describe autistic individuals who for some reason “can’t let go of negative experiences” you might want to consider CPTSD… it is not a choice to view interactions through a negative lens if there is trauma.

I’m very interested in getting a diagnosis, but can’t find any resources I can afford. I was hoping to find some help here but I only found two episodes on the subject and one of them was mislabeled and the other wasn’t about finding a diagnosis. It was about how the diagnosis process would play...Read full review »

Thank you DrRegan. This podcast is full of every day practical tools to handle autism. Delivered in a professional but totally relatable way. Great tips, real life examples, covering topics I didn’t know about (we only got his diagnosis when he was 16 yrs). Thank you Dr. Reagan.

I’ve just found Dr Reagan’s podcasts and as a late diagnosed woman with ASD, they are just full of lightbulb moments! She has a wonderful way of explaining how and why situations arise and what to do about them. So helpful and I’m so grateful they’re available in podcast form.

As an adult who is recently realizing I may be on the spectrum, I’m finding these episodes really helpful in understanding why I sometimes am the way I am. The family dynamic & grief episodes I listened too today had several examples of things I have experienced. Thank you for this.

Thank you so much, Dr. Regan, for this enlightening and uplifting podcast. I’ve been struggling with the signs and symptoms of the autism spectrum, but haven’t had the proper venue to communicate them to others. Now I know that these struggles are not as a result of a failure of motivation on my...Read full review »
