Important podcast perhaps
The first episode was wonderful. After reading ‘Gulag,’ I started following Anne Applebaum. I am curious to see how this progressed. The first episode was a lot about Trump as an authoritarian etc. and I agree wholly with a lot of this. I am not voting for Trump because of his behavior around Jan 6. I am hoping this podcast also delves into the the censorship from the Left as well. There has been a lot of this. As a society, we are broken and at risk for authoritarianism from all over, not just the right. When one side censors ‘for our own good’ it is a problem. Especially when we see truth in what was censored. So, reserve full judgement of this podcast until I have listened to more episodes. If it is all against Trump and the right then it is not journalism. It is not all true. But if it shows authoritarianism from both sides….and it is there, then awesome.

More reviews of Autocracy in America
If Anne Applebaum says democracy in America is giving way to autocracy, then I want to know how and why.

Not surprising a writer from The Atlantic would be in left-field without a glove or a clue

I love her tenacity, wisdom, and courage. Her voice speaks unmasked truths. “Autocracy, Inc.” is a read for those with like courage.
