“As a student pilot, I am trying to immerse myself in all things aviation, to keep my mind in the game when I'm not flying. To that end, I've listened to several podcasts.
Max has a voice and a personality that translates perfectly to a podcast, and he must use great recording equipment, because the audio quality is as clear as a bell. He has the ability to explain complex concepts in a way that is friendly to student pilots--but he also gives a better understanding of those concepts better than several instructors I've worked with.
His interviews are interesting and insightful, and it's a great source of checkride preparation! I highly recommend this podcast; it's a great use of your time if you're interested in GA!
