How about some basics…
I’ve listened to three episodes and not once does the host introduce his guest, particularly at the beginning, so I was left wondering for 30+ min who I was listening to. Of course I thought, “well, I’ll go the show notes.” Nope, nothing there either about the guest. It was all info about the host and the stuff he’s selling. Then there’s the content. I listened to a Sales + Marketing episode and it was like listening to two old school “bros” (they even called themselves that) pontificate about all the marketing + sales stereotypes. There’s was nothing groundbreaking- if anything it was as if I was listening to how marketing + sales functions 5-10 years ago. Most modern marketing and sales leaders don’t function in an us v them environment anymore. We all know it’s counterproductive. Stop perpetuating these stereotypes and also introduce your guests.

Sales is tough. Brian’s podcast helps to cut through the BS that is the sales self-help category and gives practical and actionable advice on how to improve. It’s a great resource for seasoned sales professionals as well as newcomers.
