Great for film buffs
New listener. Film buff. I'm enjoying this podcast. Jim Ordowich plays devil's advocate in the episodes I've heard. A guest comes ready to discuss an old film they love, and Jim takes a sceptical stance, sometimes pointing out its flaws. He's not unfair tho. In EP72 - Sleuth (1972), Jim says something like he tried to find a reason not to like Sleuth but ended up thinking it's great. I liked EP65 where the guest brings in The Nutty Professor (1963) and Jim is brutally frank in assessing the limitations of Jerry Lewis's style of comedy.Read full review »
