Amazing production with compelling firsthand accounts
Since first learning about the story behind the SOX Act and similar regulations in my first accounting class in 2018, I have paid extra careful attention to business compliance across the value chain, both as a consumer and a professional. I think every student (business students in particular) should listen to this story in some format or another. This podcast offered a brilliant telling of the pitfalls of financial engineering at Enron. Thank you to the incredible WSJ journalists who uncovered the misdeeds and probed beyond the misleading information that was perpetrated by Enron’s c-suite so that we could drive towards greater integrity and credibility in our economy.

A cautionary tale of corporate greed, finger pointing, and fraud excellently narrated by the reporters who broke the stories that brought down a corporate juggernaut.
