I hate how accurate it is. Baltimore gets a lot of bad publicity and maybe that is part of why the police are the way they are. They are pushed to do a near impossible job. Most of the city has a lot of crime & cooperating with police is its own death sentence. Police are pushed to...Read full review »

Disgraced police officer Wayne Jenkins has the absolute audacity and delusion to believe that what he and his criminal conspirators did doesn’t warrant a 25 year sentence. You did a great job in showing his lack of a moral compass and highlighting that this was just the tip of the Iceberg and...Read full review »

Loved it. Great to hear actual footage and all the levels of deceit. More please!

Reminded of the shield tv show I watched years back. Great to listen too

I loved Bad Cops and listened to all seven episodes in one day. Excellent reporting from Jessica Lussenhop about the racketeering and corruption in the Gun Trace Task Force.

I’m bothered how you make out some of their heroic acts as if they weren’t on the front lines in harms way. I feel safe when drug dealers and gang bangers are locked up in a correctional facility. Free Wayne Jenkins!

I really only like this podcast because it has Wayne Jenkins on it himself. Being from Baltimore..I must say it’s really infuriating for her to continue to reference the criminals as “victims”. Yes, there were a few actual victims. However the majority of these people were criminals.. gang...Read full review »

Absolutely incredible story of the most corrupt police task force! I can’t even believe this story is true and sadly it is. The host of this podcast is incredible and this podcast deserves much more recognition and a higher rating! I was led here from Jessica’s article about the task force....Read full review »

This is a great podcast. It's presented in an easy-listening style and moves along at a good clip. I enjoyed hearing about the bad cops of Baltimore and, of course, wonder about cops all over the world. There are good and bad--just hope the good outweigh the bad. I recommend this podcast.Read full review »

Loved this podcast but shocked at the level of corruption from those we look to serve and protect

Episode length/frequency was great (commenters who wanted more have too much time on their hands) but felt the ending was a bit lacking. Was waiting for a pay off that never landed.

Wow! Incredible! This podcast is Really good!! Unfortunately there are a lot of corrupt cops and they get away with a lot of crimes.

Really enjoying this series. The episodes are quite short but I look forward each week to the next. The story is well written and Jessica Lussenhop has a pleasant easy to listen to presenting style.

If Jessica says “elite task force” one more time….. Elite? This was a task force run by morons w/o supervision. Elite? Jessica is really, really dumb. BBC should be ashamed.

This is a great series. I wish the episodes were longer and more frequent, only due to how much I am enjoying this podcast. BBC World Service, hope you will making more similar podcasts like this in the future.

Interesting podcast, however short format delivered once per week means I disengage. Would love episodes more frequently or a longer once weekly. All the best!

Love that it’s only 30 minutes an episode, would love to see them make this in to a tv show or film!
boro 74 via Apple Podcasts · Australia · 09/16/21
Love this podcast. Excellently put together and truly gripping. My only criticism is it is a bit absurd to wait a week for a 20 minutes episode. Please increase the frequency or the length of the eps!

Really enjoying this podcast at the moment. It’s fascinating and astonishing in equal measure.
rtc44 via Apple Podcasts · Great Britain · 09/13/21
Agreed with other comments. The episodes are too short and we would love to hear 2 a week or one a week if you combine two of your episodes to make them of a decent length! Great show otherwise just frustrating format...
Mahboula59 via Apple Podcasts · Great Britain · 09/11/21
How on earth is this rated 5 stars? it’s full of advertisements and the episodes consist of dragging out known parts of the story. This is a big money grab for BBC
user_aps via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 09/09/21
We need the episodes to be at least half hour to 40 minutes. Plus 2 episodes a week would be sufficient.
kjlmc75 via Apple Podcasts · Great Britain · 09/09/21
Waiting for new episodes :) Great storytelling!
rhimself via Apple Podcasts · Germany · 09/07/21
To short episodes and then the wait is too long. I forget everything that’s happened and you need to be on top of everything. The flashbacks at beginning aren’t sufficient because you forget every individual involved. Might come back in a few months when all available
ellie b jelly via Apple Podcasts · Great Britain · 09/07/21
Good narration etc. But why the need to stretch the series out so much? Play decent length eps

Some years ago while visiting, I saw a drug dealer doing business in a gas station/convenience store parking lot. I couldn’t believe it! Now I understand.

God reportage blandet autentiske lydbidder fra både politi og de slemme drenge. Jeg venter spændt på næste afsnit. 5/5 *****

I listened to wayyy too many true crimePodcasts and this is the only one I have looked for more episodes to purchase head of the one that you get free weekly. So GOOD!
kelbasarsba via Apple Podcasts · Canada · 08/30/21
The story is fascinating and reminds me of the movie Training Day. But to only release one episode per week of what is already a really short podcast just seems archaic and will probably lead to me losing interest without being able to listen to it on demand. This is a fascinating and terrible story all in one. Having watched and loved The Wire, I can’t help but find many comparisons to that tale. I am early into the show so can’t speak for all episodes but I can’t wait for the next one! Well worth a listen !!
