Too giggly for the subject
Why so many radio 4 programmes have to include a comedian is unclear. Framing this material in particular ...it is not “funny”....within a rather giggly conversation is jarrring. Monkey Cage works because the comics keep in the background, and just offer occasional commentary on the main content. Whereas in this programme the air time for the two participants is about equal, and the expert content is much diluted. The comic’s role is to be the mediator between expert and listener, but all she really contributed is “gosh, I didn’t know that, how disturbing”.

I love this. It’s eye-opening and entertaining. Both presenters are wonderful.

Did not like the comedic approach towards serial killers.

I LOVE this podcast series. Murder, crime, comedy, and great accents. What more do we need? (Nothing, just more of the same please!!) 😀
