[ Trigger warning: near death experience, medical trauma, sexual assault ] In this episode, Allie dives into the details of a medical trauma that she experienced in 2016, which she now understands to have been a near death experience. She describes how she had fallen to the ground while experiencing paralysis, laying in a pool of her own tears on the side of the road in rural Mexico, praying to God that someone would find her. When she arrived to the hospital later that night unable to speak, the doctors were running in circles, shouting that she was going to die in Spanish, not realizing that she could understand what they were saying. This experience is what introduced her to spirituality in an undeniable way when she SAW beyond the physical world with her own eyes.
