Les and this podcast are amazing.
Disclaimer: I’m biracial. However, society sees me as black, and that’s my defining characteristic. Les makes me feel confident and strong and proud. I came across this podcast just recently, at a tough time in my life, and having this to listen to and help uplift me has helped my mental and physical health tremendously. From the bottom of my heart, I thank Les for doing what she does. Representation matters, and she’s helping more people than she knows. Definitely recommending to my sisters and friends ♥️

I’m a 40 something black woman searching for motivation to become a more healthy, fit individual. I decided to search for podcasts on nutrition and stumbled upon Balanced Black Girl. I’m 3 episodes in and already setting my goals and writing out my workout for my next trip to the gym. Thanks, Les!
