“I was so looking forward to this podcast as I started to rewatch Band of Brothers, as the interviews with cast members looks fab. Unfortunately, could not get past host Roger Bennett, who is like an old school morning tv host, in that the whole format feels very scripted and he has his questions on a cue card, and just sort of jumps to the next question after the guest answers without really having a conversation with the guest. One of the lovely things about podcasts is that they are usually more informal which gives you have a chance to get to know the guests better. Conan O’Brien is a good example of a host who adapted his style for podcast format. Unfortunately, Roger Bennett did not. I expected more from you, HBO.”

“What a superb collection of interviews. You get a real sense of how immersed in the process the participants were from actor, writer to producer. But…..why oh why do we have to suffer the inanities of the host! Almost unbearable at times sadly, thank goodness the interviewees are so compelling.”
