“The whole reason why I went Airborne was because of Donal Robert Burgett who served in the 506 PIR in World War II. I read his book Corrahee in 9th grade I new then that I was going to be a paratrooper in the 101st Airborne Division 506 Infantry, I almost made my goal I went airborne in the 101st Airborne Davison but I was assigned to 2nd Battalion 502nd Infantry. I was retiring from the Army when Band Of Brothers came out and the movie is one of the regulars I watch. Airborne All The Way!!!”
