“Wow is this Yasi completely terrible as a host of a podcast! Talk about Low Energy!! She seems completely blasé/apathetic/unimpressed/uncaring/indifferent/incurious about the job of hosting a podcast or the subjects she is talking about. It's like it's a chore for her to be there. I don't understand how the "the Ringer" sees her and thinks "let's give HER a show"! I got through half of one episode, tried another and bailed again at the half, then 3 minutes into the 3rd episode and had to give up, yes she is that bad! As another reviewer stated, her whole demeaner is "smug, condescending tone with overall large sweeping judgements on things you seem to know very little about"!! That was spot on about Yasi! I would only add that she sounds "bored/lazy", as in "I don't want to do this or be here". Update: I tried a 4th episode but no...it's the host, it's Yasi. She has SO much condescension for the topic/artist. I don't understand why she is doing this show.”Read full review »
