Most well produced podcast on resistance training
I started my Novice Linear Progression shortly before Barbell Logic got started. As a novice training without a coach, it has been the best place to listen and learn about barbell training outside of Mark Rippetoe's Starting Strength, 3rd ed. Matt and Scott have plenty experience and passion for this topic. They are both Starting Strength coaches and know what they are talking about, as opposed to most mainstream advice on exercise, weight loss, and gym stuff in general. This is a podcast to help you train to get stronger and to understand how and why you do it. Their podcast is the best produced podcast for resistance training in terms of sound quality and consistence. The 'logic' comes through in their approach, as each episode essentially builds on the previous. They like bourbon and typically profile one each episode. This is a plus!Read full review »

As someone new to the Starting Strength program and barbell training in general, this podcast provides some great information into the how, what and why behind proper training. The guys break down a lot of the nuances and offer some fun asides to lighten up the topics.
