Superb interviews and a good time
I'd love this podcast even if I weren't going to be on it in 2 weeks...it's far more than a way for new baseball books to get promotion; it's a way of covering baseball's huge history from various angles through the lens of authors who have dived deep into their favorite areas. The key is Justin's superb taste in books and his ability to get the authors he wants on the show; those things together mean the show hit the ground running in terms of content quality. As a host, Justin seems most interested in bringing a variety of thoughts out of his guests; since he has authors on they're happy to talk for awhile regardless, but Justin's minimalist touch means the conversation is varied without faltering. Personally, I'd like to hear a bit more of Justin - he's deeply familiar with the books he's discussing and many areas of baseball history - but it's perfectly defensible that he wants to take a backseat to his guests. If you don't know what classic or new baseball books you should pick up, this is a premier resource.Read full review »

While I’m sure he never found it, your listeners have certainly found “The World’s Best Baseball Podcast”. Your interview style is on-point and you always manage to your authors...Read full review »
