“The content of the podcast is generally very good or better. The people at Baseball HQ are industry leaders in fantasy baseball, and the commentators provide quality, timely information. One minor quibble with the content is that the focus seems to be on AL or NL only leagues, rather than the more prevalent mixed leagues, although it's possible that is the niche they are seeking - hardcore players.
Any criticisms are just at the margins. The biggest and most important is that the audio quality for some of the commentators who are on the phone is abysmal, bordering on sounding like the teacher in the old Charlie Brown specials. Also, the host has the feel of a failed radio DJ, who is using the podcast to fulfill his career aspirations; in addition, in what seems to be an attempt to sound "professional," the show is over-produced.
But all in all, the quality of the content makes it worth wading through the other concerns.”Read full review »
