“Baseball HQ is the brain trust behind Ron Shandler's Baseball Forecaster. These guys know what they're doing. They use "fanalytics" (advanced metrics) to identify sleepers, busts, guys playing over their head, guys having bad luck, etc. They typically use a player as an example to make a broader point, rather than just regurgitating player news you can get anywhere. The in-depth and often against-the-greain insight they offer is invaluable. The only drawback is the hokey gee-gosh-golly banter they engage in and generic nostalgia, which comes off as a bit phony. The promos scattered throughout are also humorously bad. But once you get over that you realize this is a must-listen for the hardcore fantasy baseball player.”Read full review »
