In decline
I wanted to join the chorus of reviewers explaining that this podcast has suffered since Peter Pascarelli took over. He spends far too much time recapping games from the night before; anybody who is interested in this podcast probably already knows what happened in last night's games. The podcasts now lacks the guests, like Jayson Stark, Steve Phillips, and Buster Olney, that made it so much fun when Alan Schwarz was the host. Hey ESPN, can you bring back Alan? He made the Podcasts so entertaining, informative, lively and humorous. BT is a good Podcast with Peter... a much better one with Alan (it would get a 5 Star rating).

This is a fantastic podcast for true baseball-loving listeners. If you want the usualy ESPN radio tomfollery and skullduggary, this is NOT the podcast for you. Eric Karabell is definitely a step up from Peter Pascarelli who was excrutiating as the previous host. I wish Karabell would spend less time on Philly and fantasy, but he's more engaging than Pascarelli who acted as if he'd rather have a root canal than host a podcast.
