Mostly good
Coach Nick's convos with coaches and trainers are always great, though a in a recent pod with an nba journalist, Nick was clearly and awkwardly speaking from a script. Devin Williams was my favorite, with various 'small school' coaches also entertaining with their expertise. However I just listened to today's one with Instant Offense and it was pretty lousy. Bad audio and lazy generalizations about 'analytics' had me turning it off like 1/4 of the way through. "Blah blah blah I played basketball so I don't like the analytics." I played too, and so did many others who, upon making an honest effort at learning what some of these stats were saying and also NOT saying, have enriched their experience of watching and playing. I thought this weird, counterproductive, reactionary, 'old-school' thinking was discouraged by Bballbreakdown but maybe not entirely. I'll continue listening to Bballbreakdown but I think I'll skip out on the Instant Offense 🙉Read full review »

Been a break during the bubble but Coach Nick is finally back to talks X’s and O’s for playoff basketball. Favorite basketball podcast to listen to because it’s more pure basketball and game focused than the others. Looking forward to more content. Thanks Coach!
