Balanced, unbiased and highly informative
BC Almanac has been a fantastic method to access programming with a local interest in BC. I have listened to every podcast for the past two plus years. While the call-in's have a strong slant to the left of the political spectrum, the host keeps the content and discusions balanced, unbiased and highly informative. I am hoping the podcasts will continue rather than be buried somewhere inside the useless CBC News app. If I have to dig for each episode within the app when finished the previous episode, I will no longer bother trying to seek out the content. I like to catch up on episodes on weekends where each episode automatically starts playing when the previous episode finishes. I am frequently outside of WiFi and cellphone data zones when I am listening to the program and will preload my iPhone with the podcasts before leaving home.Read full review »
