Description
In Michelle Renee’s first book Held Hostage, she shares the true story of being kidnapped with her young daughter in 2006 and forced to rob the bank she managed while being taped with explosives. After the incident she had to navigate the legal system and was suspected of being in on the crime. It’s an incredible story and it was made into a Lifetime movie that came out in 2009. Fast forward to today and Michelle describes picking up the pieces and trying to heal in her new book Nine Days- Living with my Soul Wide Open After Violent Trauma. Michelle goes on a nine-day road trip to pick up her daughter in Alaska and also prepares to come face to face with her kidnappers…again. Michelle describes how she has been able to put her life back together after traumatic events and gives information for anyone working to put their life back together after the unimaginable happens.  Find out about Michelle Renee and the book Nine Days www.michelle-renee.com Learn more about your ad choices.
