Take it or leave it.
I want to love this podcast so much, but a number of them are just a miss for me. She comes from quite a privileged place (which is not bad; it just is what it is) so it’s very hard to apply a lot of the tips to my life, especially regarding anything work related. I want her acknowledge more of those who do not have the luxury to take an hour lunch to go to the gym, or split their work day in two. It’s just not physically (or sometimes legally) possible for some people to do these things. There have to be work time management tips for that situation as well. There are a handful that I really appreciate, such as the concept of “plan it, do it anyway” or the general morning routine tips. I look forward to her expanding her audience as she becomes the “communication chameleon” she aims to be. On another note that doesn’t have to do with the content of the podcast, but the ads; they’re terrible. Just the fact that a 5 minute podcast has to tack on a minute long ad or two drives me up the wall. I will not listen to this podcast on my 45 minute drive to work, purely so I can make sure I have hands free to skip this torture. Major pet peeve of mine.
