“There are plenty of good podcasts for learning Spanish but very few teach it for those who desire to learn the Latinoamerican version. As a US citizen I’m really happy to hear spanish which sounds more familiar to what I come into contact with than the spanish spoken in Spain. Liz and Rob are great hosts and while Liz is from Colombia they also make an effort to teach you about how spanish is spoken in Spain as well if you’re interested in the differences and things like the vosotros form. There are many accents in Meso, Central, and South America but the Colombian accent (or Liz’s at least) is very clear and easy to understand. And to Rob’s credit he’s pretty easy to understand as well (I’ve heard accents from different parts of the U.K. and Ireland that would probably warrant re-learning my own language).”
