Heard Roberts episode with Naomi on Real and am so glad I came across this podcast. Just listened to the Penelope Jackson episodes, brilliantly told. Thanks. A new listener!

This podcast is interesting and treats its subject matter with a sensitivity that is rare in true crime. It’s not flashy. The interest comes from the cases themselves and the interviews with the people involved. The episodes with crime writers are a nice treat.

The awful woman in the Lucan episodes really has drunk the cool aid: she’s completely starstruck by what she calls “the poshos”, spouting ludicrous theories that attempt to exonerate Lucan and which sadly go unquestioned. A shame, because the presenter is clearly highly intelligent, experienced...Read full review »

I’ve long had a fascination about the Lucan case after seeing a documentary called “Dead Lucky” in around 1994, and the 3 episodes appeared on search on Apple Podcasts. Its very well produced with a good flow of narrative with expert information. I didn’t think it was possible to learn much new...Read full review »

I am not impressed with the most recent Lord Lucan episode. This ghastly old toff’s analysis, who clearly fancied Lord Lucan- do bog off dear.

Here he can go into fascinating depth and I promise you won’t regret going in with him. Can’t wait for...Read full review »

I’ve listened to Robert Murphy’s ‘No strings attached’ podcast and now I’m hooked! Had to find more from this reporter Robert Murphy. I was not disappointed! He is a very talented reporter. He puts across the victim’s family’s story, which is such an important part of any of these devastating...Read full review »

Hurry up with the next episode please! This is a marvellous true crime experience. A chance to hear from people involved with horrific crimes in Britain, the families, victims and investigators, all shepherded by a veteran crime journalist. Very well produced.

This excellent series is made by an investigative journalist and it really shows. Instead of just rehashing the cases, Robert Murphy has actually spoken to the people involved to find out how they felt at the time and the impact it has had on their lives. Altogether a different class of true...Read full review »

Congratulations. Loved this first episode. It’s frighteningly rare to find a true crime podcast that involves actual journalism. Can’t wait for the next ep.
