“I've known about this podcast for a long time and now I'm overwhelmed because, having recently listened to 20 episodes in about 5 days, I will be listening to every single one. I'm not going to read the other 188 reviews (so far) but I'm sure (since they are all 5 stars) they say how informative and funny and generally excellent this series is. However, the creators keep asking me (via podcast) to write them a review, and so here I am. I consider myself extremely well-informed on the subject matter but there is much for me to learn in every episode. Not only that, there is the opportunity for this to be critical and negative and judgmental, but in the best of all possible ways, they celebrate their subjects with positivity and depth and a genuine love of theatre in general, Broadway and beyond.
