“This podcast is great!
I was hesitant to listen because I was unsure if talking about BBQ for an hour at a time would hold my attention, I couldn’t have been more wrong. I now realize I was like one of those people who didn’t watch Breaking Bad because they didn’t want to watch an hour long show about making meth. Derek and Shawn bring everything to the table and present it in a way that is so compelling. True, I have learned many pointers and ideas when it comes to BBQ, but the type of men they strive to be for their families, wives, kids, employees, and customers is phenomenal. The feeling I feel most after completing a podcast is that of total admiration, these guys are living their lives and have raised the bar high for others to hopefully emulate and employ in their own lives.
I am so glad I came across this podcast, I’m a subscriber and will listen to them all. Congrats on nearing 100, Derek/Shawn you both are great human beings and I wish more people lived their lives in the way you do.
