Intimate helpful state to trait :)
I knew Dr Hanson’s work from The Buddha’s brain and JOT and I’m really appreciative of the Being Well format. It is very intimate and welcoming, Forrest provides such a pragmatic, insightful and down to earth counterweight to Rick’s deep professional knowledge and understanding. I get such wisdom from the topics, the sociopath episode was so helpful. I pick snippets of wisdom from Rick - state to trait, how does this stick to the ribs, and if a topic or guest is somewhat contradictive, he digs. Forrest is like a big brother to me, you look at him across the kitchen table and go, whoa, that is wise. I like how he translates very complex topics in plain English. This is not lofty, out there, woo woo, amen, hallelujah. It’s real, there is warmth, a gem of a resource and I sometimes feel we’re just having tea and talking. Thank you.
