“As a housewife in Nebraska, I've survived the last couple years listening to the "Best of the Left" podcast. Vacuuming the carpet, driving the kid to preschool, cooking meatloaf for the family, sorting the laundry, basically living my life has been fueled by this fantastic, thoughtful compilation of clips. I cannot thank the creator enough. His brilliant, yet self-effacing manner got me through some pretty tough days in the reddest of red states.
However...these days when I go to download the latest podcast, it's rarely there. A week will go by without a new edition. It used to be a 5-day per week gig, a beautiful gift I could count on. Now that it's gone "community-based," it's unreliable at best. The other day, it pissed me off so much I turned on Dr. Laura -- at least she's on the radio 24-7. I just wish some wealthy Democrat would get a clue and fund this Tim guy's work into the next century. Seriously, give the man a salary to do what he does best. The progressive pioneer housewives in the Heartland would be grateful.”Read full review »
