“Trust in politics is at an all-time low” is the line in the advert for this. Indeed. Maybe the protagonists should consider their contributions to this. A self-critical look at the media’s complicity in amplifying lies would be worth a listen, but that would require introspection and humility, concepts that are simply alien to those paid to rigidly shape public opinion.
