“I like the story but the ads are annoying. I went back and compared one of my other favorite podcasts - similar story lines etc. this would have been a great story for that podcast. One recent episode starts at 1:05 after 1 ad and listener cautions. Ends at 33:06 with last 45 seconds of credits, preview and theme music. No other ads. So her advertiser sponsors the entire episode. And I like that advertiser. One episode of Betrayal was 7.5 minutes of ads in a basically 30ish minute episode. And not interested in an ad about your platform. I choose not to subscribe to any podcast so I expect ads and even interested in some. Frankly I skip them here. I hope your platform keeps track of that and reports back.”
