“…in the amount of ad breaks and the length of each break. I am literally pressing the 30 second forward button around 6-7 times, that’s over 3 minutes, and there are probably 4-5 ad breaks, so around 15 min give or take of ads for a 30 min episode. And, that doesn’t count the intro/recap. It’s definitely on the high end, and I’ve been listening to hundreds of podcasts, so I know what is typical and what is excessive. It disrupts the flow and just makes listening not enjoyable.
The story is interesting, but the ads leave a bad aftertaste on the podcast as a whole. I don’t know about the “racism” issue brought up in another review. I don’t even know what the ads are for because I speed ahead.”
