An empowered victim
As my world has recently been turned upside down I found your podcast & I’m trying to listen to as many episodes as I can. Your podcast helps victims & survivors like me, feel encouraged & empowered in such a difficult & traumatic time. I’ve also joined the BTRG in order to reach out to other women walking through similar things & we’re all seeking professional advice along the way. My favorite take away isn’t to bash all men or promote divorce it’s for women to realize & create healthy & safe boundaries in their lives whatever that looks like for them. Unfortunately for me I’m a SAHM of three young girls (5, 3, and 1) and my biggest fear is the financial & independence pieces. I’m working through those fears & what it means to provide the best life for me & my girls. The podcast also helps me name & process the depth of the hurt & pain: emotional abuse, financial abuse, lying/gaslighting, & sexual coercion. Thank you for creating this encouraging & safe space for women.

Anne! I would love to go to lunch with you and visit with you one day! ☺️You are helping so many women! I teared up today listening to your podcast with Dave Cawley. Compassion is so needed, and both of you have exemplified this through your actions. Thank you from the bottom of my heart❤️ Angie

Anne revealed she started the podcast because victims can’t read. I used to read so many books, so...Read full review »
