Pure, wild delight
This podcast is a real gift -- especially for fans of Marty and Ro, or of wisdom and ebullience in general. There are always real gems in the conversation as well as a lot of salutary silliness, and Ro's contributions are just invaluable. If you're brand new to Martha Beck and are looking for a more concentrated form of her genius (at the nexus between self-development and spirituality), I'd recommend starting with The Gathering Room and/or her books. I couldn’t get past the first 15 minutes of the first podcast. I am sure Martha Beck’s message is in there somewhere, but the fact that the hosts were just not at all funny to me and actually were just irritating to listen to were a turn off. I’ll just read her books instead.
