Great YouTube channel, disappointing podcast

“I am a fan of the Youtube channel “Lessons from the Screenplay”, but I couldn’t listen to this podcast (the Shaun of the Dead episode) for more than 10 minutes. Here there are 4 hosts (too many!), one of them only saw the movie for the first time a few days ago, and for ten minutes they talked about how they didn’t like the movie, because “it is gross humor, not my taste”. Well, then don’t talk about it! I am not hear because I am curious about a stranger’s personal taste. The LftS videos, Art of the Score podcast and other good channels help us appreciate cinema by highlighting technical or narrative strengths &weaknesses of movies. They don’t talk about the host’s personal taste. This was unfortunately a waste of time.”

“Perfect podcast to listen to while running errands. Tricia your voice is a little too high pitched for me, so sometimes it’s a bit uncomfortable, but man do you make such good points! You go girl. Not gonna lie I’m not 100% sure that’s how you spell your name though.”
