It's a highlight of my week as they throw the Yacht Rock bone (a Yacht Rock song that'll be new to you) to begin, and then take you on a trip through genres of music that come from their minds. Hollywood Steve (Steve Huey) is critical to the podcast, as he has both the vast knowledge of music and musicians, and the vocabulary to vividly describe it all. JD Ryznar is the one who has come up with the most genres so far, but everybody (David Lyons and Hunter Stair) is on fire with their own genres and contributions.
