It is told to Plato by Aristophanes that in the beginning of time, when humans were first created, we had a form different to that we have today. We were both man and woman, had four arms, four legs and a single head made of two faces. We were a threat to the Gods and Zeus decided to send a thunderbolt and cut us in half.
