Smart but full of commercials
This is an interesting, intelligent and professionally produced podcast. But I feel that the large amount of commercials (as compared to the many, many other podcasts I have listened to) is overkill. So much so that I have become tired of fastforwarding so now I just don't listen much. Having said that, Shostak is a light-hearted, and very well-informed scientist whose sense of humor might sound sort of corny, whose northern US accent might sound really strong, but whose dedication to exploring this material you will surely respect.Read full review »

I find this podcast both informative and entertaining. The jokes might not win any comedy awards, but they make a sometimes dry subject more acessible. After you listen for a while you realize there is serious science behind the humor.
