ONE OF MY FAVORITE PEOPLE
Cal is one of the most authentic, and fun people that I have ever encountered. I first remember hearing him on the Tim Ferriss podcast a couple years ago. When I heard that he was hosting his own podcast, I HAD to listen. And I was not disappointed in the slightest. Cal, is quite possibly one of the most authentic people out there. He routinely shares a lot of his self doubts and struggles, allowing everyone to peer into his mind. Using his own learning process, he interviews guests, and friends, delving deep into their stories. The title is a perfect description because Cal is able to ask questions in a way the elicit deeper answers than most guests typically share. Few podcast hosts consistently hear responses that their guest hasn’t been asked this question before. Cal routinely receives this comment. Having met Cal in person at a Spartan Race, I can 100% attest that he is completely himself, and I eagerly wait each week for his new episode (plus his unique ads for Squarespace and ZipRecruiter).

It’s not just the fact he brings on amazing and unique guests. I found the questions the guests ask or...Read full review »

Cal is the master conversationalist that unpeels these layers and layers of stories and discovers how they are all threaded together. I think he is more visual than he knows as he connects the dots in his guests lives and helps even them to see how and why they are wired. I think Cal needs to be...Read full review »
