Entertaining but lacks investigative journalism
I really enjoyed this podcast, and you can really feel the love everyone had/has for Peter. It was also very interesting to learn about him, his influence, and the underground LA punk scene. Although it was well written, it really lacks an investigative journalistic perspective. I know they wanted to honor Peter and not have the podcast be super crimey, but it leaves a lot of reporting that still needs to be done in my opinion. For example, an easy way to rule out David Jove is if he had an alibi. The guy was always around people. If he was at the cave all night, that would probably be pretty easy to prove and rule him out as a suspect. His possible alibi is never discussed. Also, a journalist probably would have figured out a way to get the file from LAPD or at least more info out of them. I just feel like I was left with a lot of questions due to the lack of significant reporting outside of interviewing the people who knew Peter.

Could be an interesting story, but the number of ads was incredibly distracting.

First 4 episodes have been brilliant! Fantastic journalism bringing this very long story to public knowledge. Thank you! I recommend reading The Hacienda by Lisa St Aubin de Teran - a Venezuelan version of the Sugarcrats
