Wow
I’m a Floridian and my family are farmers so I know all about sugar cane, my dad would grow a few rows of it and we would chew on the sugar cane. I do remember how hard it was and your description of it is spot on, it’s hard deep green and looks much like bamboo, the plant itself could cut you. With that said this story is heart breaking and is just simply wrong. Good job on shedding light on this story. Makes me not want to eat sugar unless it’s my dads own sugar cane, it’s very good. Love Love!!!!

This wasn’t the worst podcast I have listened to but it’s pretty low on my list. Extremely redundant. Way too many ads. I feel like the host reminded me of somebody reliving their glory days. The tough chick act is lame.

Could be an interesting story, but the number of ads was incredibly distracting.

This podcast has opened my eyes to the full history of the Fanjul family.
