This podcast confirmed information I discovered working in Belle Glade, Florida (2002-2006) and while participating in Leadership Glades 2003-2004. The podcast also explained the motives of the industry to maintain political and economic power. Belle Glade’s soil is a source of it’s fortune, yet the diverse people are the community’s treasure.

I have NEVER listened to a podcast with this many ads. Ruined the entire experience. Even Penelope Spheeris should be embarrassed by this level of sell out. A moderately cool story but not enough time to tell it.

This is a interesting and very well done podcast. But having 23 minute episodes with five minutes being ads is so far from the message of the podcast.
