1st year grad seminar vibes
I wanted to like this podcast, but it’s very “upper-middle class girls who have never had jobs decide to go to grad school to delay adulthood but only halfway do the readings.” This was recommended to me as a leftist feminist podcast, but the hosts don’t seem to have anything substantive to say about left politics or feminism beyond surface-level readings of pop culture? I would recommend this show to a very young person trying to get into seeming smart.

So on board with this podcast! I really appreciate the combination of intellectual rigor and off-the-cuff warmth these gals bring to an excellent variety of topics. Side note on vocal fry: I’m normally irritated or at least distracted by it, but find both hosts so flippin likable I just DGAF. ❤️

The highlight of my week is when there is a new episode! I made a whole PayPal account just to be able to subscribe to their patreon to listen to their extra episodes, that’s how much I love the pod. Keep it up queens <3
