i was a paid subscriber for nearly 3 years, but unfortunately just cancelled my membership. The girls have gotten so out of touch, and the quality of the pod has really taken a turn. It feels lazy and hollow. :(

I’ve been a binchie for a couple years and I’m a sweet baby angel on Patreon but like what happened to the pod??? Every ep is mailbox or Reddit and none of the brilliant well researched eps that I subscribed for. I miss when you binchies would go off with a well researched and interesting topic...Read full review »

I used to listen to Binchtopia a lot. I like the hosts. They are both fun, have great chemistry and really dig into the topics, that are always interesting. But Binchtopia has a self understanding as a leftist podcast. On this background I cannot fathom that there hasn’t been an episode relating...Read full review »

You guys are awesome but where is the coverage of the Palestinian genocide? This issue wasn’t complicated for angela davis, martin luther, malcom x, einstein, james baldwin, jvp, mandela, thousands of anti zionist leaders throughout history….almost all of black academia …like do you really not...Read full review »

This is literally the best podcast ever. My roommates insisted that I listened to binchtopia as I am not a very avid podcast user but when I started I could not stop. I will catch myself cackling out loud in the middle of work when I sneakily have one AirPod in listening to my besties or out in...Read full review »

Having a podcast that covers such a wide range of topics, and completely ignoring the ongoing genocide occurring in Palestine is abhorrent. The only time they mentioned Palestine in the last few months was to say “it’s too complicated” but the entire premise of this podcast is supposedly to...Read full review »

I find it extremely concerning and lazy when people get on here and say “some of these reviews are crazy” because people who listen to women who postition themselves as leftist feminist have chosen to stay silent on genocide. Even if I could look past that (which I can’t) to then also read a...Read full review »

literally best podcast ever. so many deep cutting topics, research, and takes that really address the intricacies of experiences for the girlies and the gays.

i was a paid subscriber for almost 3 years. i loved this pod and the community, but it in the last few months i have found myself disillusioned and decided to unsubscribe. it doesn't seem like Eliza or Julia are concerned with using this platform for any more than 30 seconds to raise...Read full review »

What was once a well research yet lighthearted and genuine show has pivoted to regurgitating Wikipedia pages. Hosts do not take feedback and now talk down to the audience. Worth listening to the old episodes but the new episode offer nothing new to any conversation.

This was the only pod i was subscribed to on Patreon. Their silence on the war on Palestinians is so upsetting. I check every week to see if they release an ep with some sort of discussion

This podcast used to be a fave of mine but the quality of content has really slipped over the last year. They’ve also been silent on Palestine (despite doing an entire episode on Ukraine). Refusing to use their huge platform to talk about and condemn the ongoing genocide has been disappointing to...Read full review »

i have been with the binchies since the beginning! i hoped the podcast would retain its humor and wit as it grew, but that has not been the case. eliza in particular is insufferable and out-of-touch. it seems like she can only complain. where episodes were previously well-researched and topics...Read full review »

kind of wild to build a reputation on socially conscious and nuanced analyses while ignoring a genocide for over three months with hardly a passing acknowledgement. dismissing an ongoing genocide as “too complicated” to unpack is ridiculously irresponsible and disappointing. it’s easy to...Read full review »

I wanted to like this podcast, but it’s very “upper-middle class girls who have never had jobs decide to go to grad school to delay adulthood but only halfway do the readings.” This was recommended to me as a leftist feminist podcast, but the hosts don’t seem to have anything substantive to say...Read full review »

This podcast used to be the highlight of my week! But the quality of the episodes has gone down severely, and they’re silent on Palestine. White feminism always wins I guess 😀👎🏼

Long time listener, so its sad to write this but building a platform on leftist takes & then staying silent on one of the most significant conflicts is shameful. Y’all done messed up. Look at the reviews for goodness sake! Your podcasts are getting more boring and random, ya’ll refused to mention a genocide, it’s so phony and stupid. I’m sorry “girlies” but this is over. (HAHA I’ve never even listened to it…)

At the end of the day, they have made a lot of money being a leftist centered podcast. It may not be a political pod, but they have touched on plenty of political issues (they literally did an ep on Russia/Ukraine.) The episodes themselves have gotten less entertaining, imo. Also, Julia one of...Read full review »

i just thought i’d go check out the reviews on my favorite podcast and even though in glad they have a high 4.9 stars some of the hate comments were awful to me. these girls are so smart, entertaining, and funny. i’ve learned so much from these episodes but also laughed a lot. don’t listen to the...Read full review »

It’s wild how a femenist podcast has not said a word about the struggles of Palestinian women. Y’all lost me after being a listener from the start. 😕speak up girlies. Y’all are catering to white liberal feminism, not intersectionality.

The older episodes seemed like they did more research, had more interesting topics. Their topics are random and not interesting, the commentary is bland and predictable, the research isn’t there.
