“I like Payton and actually like into the dark better than MWMH, not because Garrett isn’t in here, I like him too, but because it’s stories that haven’t been covered that much on other podcasts. BUT, while there are a lot of mispronunciations, the worst part is the research and sounding naive. The Charles Manson death penalty mention did not make sense since he passed away from natural causes. As a host of another True crime podcast Payton should know this. There are other misinformations on episodes that bothered me, like the invention of the wheel in the Stonehenge episode. The wheel was invented before Stonehenge. I would not just use Wikipedia as research but also research journal like University libraries or JSTOR.”
