My Favorite Podcast
Although this podcast was just released this year, it has very quickly become my favorite Podcast. I will most definitely, be listening to these every single week. To be completely honest, I am incredibly biased because this podcast combines two of my top favorite topics: baseball, and black history. I have been so grateful to the fact that the Negro Leagues and it’s players and representatives have finally gotten the recognition and publicity they deserve. Obviously there’s is a long, long way to go in terms of these topics, and racism in America. But it’s nice to see this sliver of progress. That’s not to mention the MLB FINALLY have considered the Negro Leagues to be Major Leagues. Huge thanks to Bob Kendrick and all his guests and contributors for helping a 30 year old, lifelong baseball fan, learn more about a very important part of baseball and African-American history.
