We found our people
I stumbled upon this podcast and immediately sent it to my husband and some select friends, who like us have lived and worked internationally. My husband and I listened to an episode and it was just like the conversations we have in our kitchen. We found our people. I reject mainstream news because I feel that issues are talked about on a surface level and from the perspective of those in power. Root causes and the real impacts on the those who aren’t in power and people of the global majority are rarely up for discussion. So it was nice to find a community we can identify with and that can broaden our perspective through the host and guests unique experiences.
