Missed the point
Interested to listen to reviews of "Master of None" and came across this podcast. The BG so don't get it. Episode 4 is NOT an oppression olympics! It's quite literally an running commentary of how easily Asian Americans are dismissed by popular media. Ugh, I thought that was pretty hard to miss. Instead of interpreting the episode as an attack on African Americans, you can also consider that his experience might be simultaneously valid with your own. And, episode 2 is a beautiful homage to all parents, but especially resonates with the children of immigrants.
