I have been listening to BGT for over a year and have come to realise that the podcast is like hanging out with my sisters. Great conversations with relevant guests and the conversations always pop! Great work!

Great podcast, but The audio quality is a bit distracting. IT will probably Get better when they become more popular. Still a very good podcast with very important and funny topics

I'm hoping on this bandwagon called podcasts and being fond of another podcast, I got to looking for others, found this one and love it!! Even though I don't seem to have friends that understand the black woman and black experience in general, they get it. Love this podcast

I listened 2 half of two episodes. I tried to like it, but I really can't relate to them. It sounds like white girls talking about black people topics and laughing at their own inside jokes. The audio quality is bad and a lot of what they had to say was basically negative. I don't want to listen...Read full review »

Unlistenable. They're just too unprofessional with no real insight - which saddens me as a fellow black woman. I first heard them as a guest on 'Stuff Mom Never Told You' and was horrified and literally cringing at points; one could NOT STOP LAUGHING the entire hour and in general they sounded...Read full review »

I am a white feminist heard about BGT from SMNTY blah blah blah…THE POINT IS- this podcast is insanely awesome. I enjoy it on so many different levels and everyone should do themselves a favor and listen. It is important. It is hilarious. It is my new favorite.

It's like chilling and talking to your girls. I love the topics and the delivery :)

Black girlz talking? Really? More like black high school girlz throwing shade, making gratuitous racist comments, and laughing over each others' comments. Not contributing meaningfully to the discourse people! First AND last time I will waste time w these negative and ignorant girlz.

I started listening to this not even a week ago and I love it. I love when they all laugh together, I feel like they are having so much fun with each other and they are all my friends. They also talk about topics I can totally relate to, have great guests, and come from different backgrounds and...Read full review »

I tried to listen to the episode on cultural appropriation to try and see a perspective opposite of mine. I was expecting something more enlightening but it ended up being more of a hateful, immature conversation. The point I really lost interest was when they said Lena Dunham needs to stop...Read full review »

I had to unsubscribe after the conversation about the movie "DOPE." The ladies spoke with such privilege and cluelessness about the urban education experience that was shocking and disgusting. Not provocative, just very ignorant. Listen to Another Round instead.

I wish the production quality was better. It almost seems like they are recording a Skype session. I am new to the show so I don't know where these ladies are recording from but they should improve the sound quality. Other than that I find the show really awesome.

I highly recommend this podcast! They introduce me to pop culture I wouldn't find in my normal feeds, whether it's new or old references that I'm not familiar with. Listen to this podcast and enjoy their intellect, silliness, and insight!

I’ve been listening to the podcast for some time and am impressed with their ability to produce quality content on a consistent basis. With the advent of black voices in podcasting, I appreciate their take, which is equal parts academic and ratchet(said with love). Keep up the good work, ladies!

THIS. PODCAST. IS. LIFE. I cannot tell you how much it means to me to have these brilliant, hilarious, savvy and in-tune black women, who are representing black women and black people and women, and doing it SO well. I really wanted to like this podcast, but after giving it several tries I find it really hard to relate to, even as a black woman. They never fail to make me laugh when I'm bored at work. I don't always agree with their perspectives, but they always leave me with food for thought. I loved their Magic Mike episode; it was the main reason I saw that movie while it was in theaters because of you ladies. I wasn't disappointed.

I love this podcast. The ladies say what I am thinking and don't apologize for anything that may cross someone. A whole episode devoted to black girls watching The X-Files? YES! I was happy to find a new podcast made by POC However 20 mins in I couldn't listen anymore. First off the title of this podcast tells you exactly what it is: it's black girls talking, so it's mostly their takes and opinions on race topics and pop culture. I don't agree with everything they say, but they make some great points and have alot of passion for the things that they discuss.

It is refreshing to listen to a podcast hosted by four black women! I love the show AND it is very hard to listen to. I find the mic levels different (sometimes drastically) from one host to the next, leaving me to need to adjust the volume when someone else speaks. This can be very jarring (when driving), especially when a louder mic follows a low one.
