“A very fine podcast. MvB's opinion is clear but he gives a balanced account of the evidence. I find it very strange that intelligent, well informed people (eg law professors etc) can look at the sum total of sound evidence and still not be convinced of David's guilt. To accept Robin murdered his family simply beggars belief.It is interesting to speculate what might have happened had Stephen not woken and fought David. I think the clue to what happened lies in how Robin met his end. Did David sit in darkeness in the computer den awaiting his father's arrival in the front room to pray or did David escort him from the caravan. The answer lies in who brought the newspaper in. Whoever fought Stephen would have been heavily bloodstained and there is none of Stephen's blood on Robin and there is no evidence Robin washed himself.
